Welcome

The Community Psychological Service (CPS) is a not-for-profit outpatient mental health clinic at the University of Missouri-St. Louis that provides psychological services to the St. Louis metropolitan community. Since 1977, our faculty, students, and staff have striven to promote excellence in psychological treatment and evaluation that is responsive to the needs of our clients and that is grounded in science and sound clinical practice.

We are committed to the full panoply of methodologies and treatment approaches appropriate to our clients' treatment goals, across all ages (whether children, adolescents, adults, or seniors), and via a full spectrum of clinical interventions, including psychological testing, organizational consultation, and individual, group, couple, and family therapy.  In the process, we are committed to an expansion of mental health expertise and resources sorely needed in our community and across our nation, by training the next generation of psychologists in research based, culturally competent, and trauma informed care.
